Popular TikTok creators Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, have formalised their union with a civil wedding.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday, marking the commencement of the legal process ahead of their white wedding scheduled for August 1, 2026.
Videos from the ceremony circulated widely on social media, confirming that the couple had completed the legal formalities of their marriage.
The civil wedding comes weeks after the pair held their traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, where Peller formally visited Jarvis’ family and paid the bride price in June.
Peller and Jarvis gained prominence through their TikTok livestreams, comedy skits and relationship-themed content, attracting millions of followers in Nigeria and abroad.
Since announcing the date for their white wedding, the couple have received congratulatory messages from fans, fellow content creators and celebrities on social media.
