Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Big Brother Naija winner Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, are set to settle their ongoing social media feud in the boxing ring.
The entertainers will face off in a bout titled ‘Chaos in the Ring’ scheduled for October 1, 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
Nkechi announced the fight on Friday via her Instagram page, sharing a promotional poster featuring herself and Phyna.
The fight is slated to air live on DAZN and SuperSport.
Ahead of the contest, Nkechi issued a warning to her opponent, expressing confidence in her ability to secure victory.
“E don burst… @unusualphyna you don’t want to go this route with me put your money on me sha cus na sure odd. I no want talk too much till October 1st,” she wrote.
The bout follows a series of heated exchanges between the pair on social media.
Phyna had previously addressed the disagreement publicly, which began online before escalating into a full-blown feud.
According to her, the drama between them traces back to a movie shoot invitation.
The BBNaija reality star explained that Blessing reached out to her about a project and sent a message in the morning asking for her rate card.
However, Phyna was only able to reply later that evening. By the time she responded, Blessing had already moved on and cast someone else, telling Phyna she could not afford to wait around and stall production.
Phyna said she found the entire situation baffling, questioning why Blessing would escalate a minor scheduling matter into a very public confrontation.
